the first pc i owned was my grandfathers, it was an IBM 286, 1mb of ram, 20 mb hdd and a 16 colour screen (14" screen), with a mouse and keyboard, it ran dos, i was 6 then,

the next upgrade from that was a 386, with a 500mb hdd, and 4mb of ram, ran windows 3.11, upgraded that computer by putting in a sound card and a 6x cd-drive,

then the next upgrade to the same system again was a 486-dx66, same hdd, 8mb of ram, grafics card was a big isa grafics card with 4mb of ram,

the next pc after that was a p200 mmx, with a 24x cd-rom drive, 2.1GB hdd, and 16mb of ram. Also with a crap 4mb s3verge grafics card. Added a Cd-Rw later to its life, went from 95 windows, to 98se windows. also added a 890c printer and a digital scanner

The next pc also partaly my currentpc, (in 2000 or so)

850mhz athlon

And thats pretty much my computer experience to right about now.
